I rode about 72 miles today to Marblemount, WA. I rode in the rain most of the day. I went the wrong way for about ten miles and caught my front tire between the shoulder and asphalt and tipped over on my bike. Hopefully, I got that out of my system and all is good ahead. A big thanks to Seth DeMoor and Steve Seguin for coming to Washington and sharing this personal story through OneBillionStories.com. Having them there made the day more memorable and real. Had a wonderful send off with family - mom, sister, wife, and two daughters - with my back tire dipped in the Pacific Ocean. It was a beautiful setting. Camping in an RV park near Marblemount tonight. That's all for now.
