Taking a rest day today in Rochester NY. Excitedly waiting for Debra and Clark this afternoon. Went to church today. Father Robert J. Kennedy gave a good homily. The main point being how Abraham from the book of Genesis appeals to God many times to bring safety and justice to the downtrodden and persecuted and to those doing good. He is concerned about helping those that follow God. Abraham is persistent in asking God to take care of them. Yesterday I came across a street sign with the words persistence on it. Nice timing.
"For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy." ~Therese de Lisieux.
