Rode 71 miles to Bismarck. Left Hebron early around 6 o'clock. Spent time battling my favorite friend the wind . What's notable about this area is the Lewis and Clark expedition that goes through ND. The woman that many of us learned about in grade school comes upon the scene. Her name is Sacajawea. She is noted for helping Louis and Clark achieve its mission objectives between 1804 and 1806. She traveled thousands of miles from North Dakota to the Pacific ocean. She helped with interpreting and establishing cultural contacts with native American populations. I hope that everyone has a nice fourth of July. Let freedom ring! Here are some pictures that I have taken along the way and don't forget to click on the picture to make it larger in case you didn't know that trick like me (first smart phone).
Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor without faith. ~ Alexis de Tocqueville
