Day 25

Left Park Rapids this morning after attending a Bible study with Don and men from his church. These are guys that are trying to be better husbands, fathers, sons and friends, just like the guy's at SVdP.

Made the ride to Hill City, which was about 74 miles. Started on a bike path that ran along the state road. Beautiful ride. Some rain but hardly noticed. Went through Walker which reminded me of Estes Park. Spoke to a family in a coffee shop. Very nice people. Bought some rhubarb bread at a market and I was ready to go. Big lakes on the way to Hill City.

Went through a small town called Reamer. Some of the residents call it the home of Bigfoot. I guess there have been sightings by hunters. He was most recently spotted in 2009.  The three people from the small town that I stopped and talked to were not buying it.  However, I thought I saw him drinkin' a pina colada at Trader Vic's and his hair was perfect. Camping out tonight, but it started raining very hard. The owner said I could stay in their lodge/office area.  I appreciated that.  Hopefully, it won't be raining tomorrow.  I want to try and make Duluth.

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend.
